For example, in 2017 the computer manufacturer invested a billion dollars in Project Big Green, the objective of which is the further development of ‘green’ technology and services, offering customers a roadmap on how to deal with the energy crisis and critically examine their own organization. In the period 1990-2005, IBM reduced its CO2 emission by forty percent and in so doing achieved an enormous energy saving.
